Lombard Medical Centre and Collingham Medical Centre are working in partnership to offer additional evening GP appointments as well as Saturday morning appointments.  These appointments are available to Newark residents who are registered with a GP Practice in Newark.

Evening appointments are available on Mondays at Collingham and Tuesday to Friday at Lombard Medical Centre from 6.30pm-8.00pm.

Saturday morning appointments are available on a rota basis.

Please note that these appointments are for non-emergencies and are pre-bookable only. For further information please contact our reception staff.

These are GP / Nurse led drop in services which are usually open 365 days a year.  Your nearest Walk-in Centres are;
Nottingham – Opening hours are Monday to Sunday 7am to 9pm, including Bank Holidays.

Urgent Care Centres

Urgent treatment centres are a facility you can go to if you need urgent medical attention, but it’s not a life-threatening situation. … You may be referred to an urgent treatment centre by NHS 111 or by a GP.
Conditions that can be treated at an urgent treatment centre include:
– sprains and strains
– suspected broken limbs
– minor head injuries
– cuts and grazes
– bites and stings
– minor scalds and burns
– ear and throat infections
– skin infections and rashes
– eye problems
– coughs and colds
– feverish illness in adults
– feverish illness in children
– abdominal pain
– vomiting and diarrhoea
– emergency contraception
These are for more serious problems such as chest pain, suspected stroke or sepsis or other conditions where you may need admission or assessment by speciality teams rather than just the A&E team. If in doubt as to where to go NHS 111 will provide advice. Nearest hospitals are:
